CBD for dogs

CBD oil is not only interesting for people, but can obviously help your best friend with four paws. Hemp plant extract is said to have anti-inflammatory, relaxing and analgesic effects. CBD (cannabidiol) is especially popular among dogs for reducing stress and anxiety or relieving pain. Owners don’t have to worry because cannabidiol is not intoxicating and the substance is not addictive either.

CBD is given to dogs for a variety of diseases. The effects should be based on the interaction with the body's own endocannabinoid system. Cannabidiol is recommended for dogs or pets for the following complaints:

• tension, arthritis, arthrosis, pain, anxiety, immunodeficiency, cancer, nausea, epilepsy, loss of appetite, digestive problems, skin / fur problems.

• Up to 12 kg 2.5-5 ml per week
  
• Between 12 and 25 kg 5-10 ml per week
  
• 26 kg and more 10-15 ml per week
  

CBD oil for dogs - side effects?

CBD oil for dogs is considered well tolerated, but side effects cannot be completely ruled out. Occasionally, ingestion of CBD can lead to mucosal dryness or fatigue in dogs. Drowsiness and dizziness cannot be ruled out.
